HIPERTEC® Roof Sound

SOUND-ABSORBING ROOF PANEL
WITH MINERAL WOOL INSULATION

Self supporting mineral wool metal panel, for industrial and civil roofs where high standards of sound absorption and good standards of sound insulation are requested.

These panels require a slopes grater than 7% for their installation. Available with 4 or 5 frets (G4/G5).

The Hipertec® Roof Sound panel is maufactured in accordance with a system patented by Metecno Italia.
The external side is made by a galvanized and prepainted corrugated steel sheet. The internal side is made by a microperforated gavalnized and prepainted steel sheet. Between these two sheets there is an insulation core of oriented wool fibers, arranged perpendicularly to the plane of the panel, positioned in strips, laid longitudinally with off-set joints and transversely compacted. In this way the panel is a perfect monolithic. The mineral wool layer is pasted on the metal sheet by a polyurethanic glue.
The corrugated metal sheet is filled by mineral wool shaped strips.

Warning: for a proper use of this panel a careful thermo- hygrometric evaluation must be carried out by the designer.
